Critical DirectX issue in Battlefield 4
Critical DirectX issue in Battlefield 4
It seems I need to wait until Origin completes the download of all DLCs (after purchasing the premium) so I can fix the game and check for updates. I’ll also repair the HDD, run a diagnostic to find any errors (a suggestion from a friend), and let you know how things will work once the repair or reinstall is done.
Don't go that route—it's really risky. You might end up falling for a scam. If a full reinstall doesn't fix the problem, consider a complete Windows reset. Bf4 tends to be sensitive about system settings due to its known issues.
Ok I'll be waiting to complete the last DLC download...and then repair the game, if that doesn't work I'll try with reinstaling the OS. Do you know if there's any way to back up all the downloads from origin ? its goind to be a nightmare to redownload the game for the third time:S Btw thanks man...
Don't stress, I'm here to assist. You can save all your game data—look in your origin games folder—for an external drive or a partition you won’t format during reinstallation. When Origin starts the download, pause it right away, move the backup folder over the new one, let Windows copy any files that might have downloaded quickly, stop the download, restart it, and it should finish at 100%. I did this when I transferred BF3 from my SSD to the HDD since I wasn’t playing much anymore.
