Hey there, I just got my new PC a few months back and was wondering what games to try. I’ve been enjoying Far Cry 6, God of War, Cyberpunk, Forza, plus shooters like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, Battlefield 5, and Fortnite. What should I add to my list? With the specs you mentioned—RYZEN 7 CPU, RX 6700 XT GPU, B650 RAM, 2 TB NVMe SSD, Corsair PSU at 850W—I’m looking for games that match that power and performance.

I’m currently enjoying Diablo 4, Hell Let Loose (over a thousand hours since January!), Dave the Diver, PC Building Simulator 2, Outer Wilds, and Dirt Rally 2. I’ve played Horizon 5 nonstop, and I’ve been playing Assetto Corsa too. Horizon Zero Dawn is impressive, I’m excited about Horizon: Zero Dawn, and I’m just looking forward to Burning Lands.

I mainly play a handful of games each year. Here’s what I’ve been doing recently: Dave the Diver 2D pixel art – deep sea adventures and resource collection. Restaurant management is part of my routine. The main quest offers some enjoyment with short puzzles. Baldur's Gate 3 (demo) is a very detailed RPG. Resident Evil 4 Remake is self-explanatory. Cult of the Lamb is a 2.5D dungeon crawler. My main hub is similar to Animal Crossing, though I haven’t played it. Vampire Survivors is a pixel art game that’s hard to resist once you find a video. Hades is another 2.5D rogue-like dungeon crawler; every character looks appealing.

I prefer expansive, non-tight games with broad experiences, so Metro Exodus, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Elden Ring come to mind. Each offers a satisfying run or multiple attempts.

Elden ring is great, I agree! Although it's not for everyone.

This game isn't for everyone, but Elden Ring attracts a wide audience. I'm not a fan of tough souls games or those that feel overly challenging. After several attempts—around four to five tries—I mostly just return without major issues, looking forward to the DLC. To level up, I focus on grinding runes, which helps bridge any skill gaps. If I can't handle a boss despite preparation, I rely on allies to assist until someone succeeds. It's also satisfying to admire the creative builds and fashion choices people make. While some sections feel frustrating, they usually stem from my impulsive decisions rather than a lack of effort.

I focus on open-world survival crafting. Games like Ark Survival Evolved, Conan Exiles, The Forest, Green Hell, Raft, 7 Days to Die, and Minecraft come to mind... The wife and I like titles with solid base building, etc. You seem to enjoy online multiplayer, so if you're up for it, Rust might be worth a try.

Dark Souls Remastered Dark Souls 3 Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Elden Ring These are by far the best games i've played in the last 5 years or so. Sekiro quickly became my favourite game of all time in terms of combat. All of these games are punishing and rewarding at the same time. And if you're interested in lore searching, there is a lot going on under the hood. You can literally watch hundreds of hours of lore content and still only scratch the surface. A few other honorable mentions: (games that don't stand out as much but are still good) Assasins Creed: Odyssey Cyberpunk 2077 Subnautica And last but not least: Skyrim I know it's an old game by now, but this game can be modded to the point where you can bring a 3080 to it's knees.

Oh yes, Subnautica. An absolutely incredible game! ( Especially in VR)
