I recently replaced the fans in my system, but it caused several issues. It wouldn't boot, the CPU cooler failed to function, causing temperatures to exceed 70°C during idle. Hard drives stopped appearing in Windows after startup, and the CPU didn’t run at the frequency I configured. I managed to resolve most problems except for my Patriot Viper 3200 sticks—four 4GB units totaling 16GB, which don’t support 3200 speed. I’ve tried enabling an A-XMP profile set to 3200 and manually adjusting it, but it always reverts to 2133. I also have a Ryzen 5 2600, an MSI Gaming Plus Max B450 board, and the same RAM sticks. Any advice would be appreciated.

It probably wasn’t the problem since it functioned before I replaced the fans. It didn’t make much sense to me, but I was willing to try again. Nothing bad can happen. Feels like the pressure is high, like a motherboard screw that’s too snug.
Ryzen usually performs better with two sticks rather than four because of its memory controller. You're using two 8GB DDR4 3600 modules at 3800MHz with specific timings.
Yeah, I wasn't having issues before when I was running 8 gigs in a 2x4 configuration. Ran at 3200, with no issues. I think I'm going to take 8 gigs out and see if it'll run at 3200 with only two sticks in, and see what happens. I'll update it here once I see what happens.
