Windows 8.0+ actually improves SSD performance by trimming them. This feature was integrated into the Windows Defragment Utility. For details, check the link provided: http://www.hanselman.com/blog/TheRealAnd...urSSD.aspx. While the NTFS filesystem still causes defragmentation, the new tools are optimized for SSDs. Make sure it remains enabled.
