The DVD movie has stayed in place all along. I plan to connect the SATA power, take out the DVD tonight, and share the results.

Do you believe changing cables and ports might resolve the issue? Because all the drives appear to be functioning well, does that imply you should skip replacing them?

Removing the DVD didn't fix the issue. But disconnecting the SATA data cable from the SSD caused a shutdown lasting 8 to 12 seconds.

Sorry, I missed your link. The OCZ agility drive is leading to the slow shutdowns. I’m curious about why, even though its health status is good. It was installed on my old PC with Windows 10 on the Samsung hard drive and I hadn’t experienced any slow shutdowns before.
