10.10 isn't great for this, 10.9 really did better. Everyone keeps talking about how every new Windows version is terrible, but the truth is Apple seems to be sticking with that pattern for some reason.

Windows 10 on solid hardware performs better and feels snappier than any other operating system I've used. I've also tested various Linux distributions.
