It's actually the reverse of what people expect, as the iPhone is receiving more recognition for its improvements.

Absolutely, I didn't realize that concept could lead to missing things.

The main issue with MacOS revolves around memory management. Adding more RAM can temporarily mask the problem, but it doesn’t solve it entirely. Unfortunately, whenever I mention this, people tend to dismiss it, claim my Mac is faulty, and avoid addressing the real concern, even though I have evidence supporting this point.

I often encounter this when customers bring in older Macs. They usually have just 2-4GB of RAM and need a big upgrade to be functional, while most people are fine with 2-4GB on Windows 8 for everyday use.

I discovered the complete opposite of what I expected, receiving 10.9... There were numerous graphics driver issues involving dual Intel/NVIDIA integration, causing significant instability. It only stabilized after 10.10 cleared most problems, though it still crashed multiple times daily when the update released. 10.9 seems to be in a difficult situation, possibly failing completely. I previously used 10.6 and it performed perfectly.

10.9 was ideal, yet they ended up using something weak at 10.10
