You're using an older Acer Aspire E15 with a modest Celeron processor, limited RAM, and a decent SSD. While it runs smoothly on Windows 10 compared to its previous version, many users with similar hardware report noticeable lag in Windows 10 versus Windows 8.x. It's worth checking if others on your end experience similar performance changes.

The only slow part of my setup is the Ivy Bridge Pentium in this laptop. It doesn’t affect performance much, but startup times are definitely longer compared to faster options, whether on the laptop or the computer I use for work.

Your laptop operates with a basic processor and functions adequately—4GB of memory and a 500GB storage drive. It seems to start up swiftly.

You're experiencing issues with your older laptop running Windows 10, but it feels a bit better with the newer version.

You’d likely notice a big drop in performance unless you’re working with less than 2GB of memory or using older hardware like an Atom processor.

It starts up smoothly and works fine, though I noticed 8.x performs a bit better. Both versions remain functional, of course.

It seems your device shares the same processor as mine.

This was my initial assumption, though actual RAM consumption remains stable from 8.x to 10, especially for users with 2GB of memory.
