However, even with that, I lack access to the data used for this chart, so I can't verify changes based solely on my analysis. I noticed the i5-7600K version still shows bottlenecks with certain configurations, while newer models like i5-7600K paired with GTX 1060 or 1080 remain clear. There are also some discrepancies in the "Haswell / Ivy Bridge-E" section that need attention. Overall, according to my knowledge, upgrading the GPU usually widens the performance gap, making a better GPU less effective than expected.

How does this process work? I'm guessing what will slow things down, and you're here to confirm (hearsay) so the chart is more reliable.
For a completely accurate bottleneck chart, I'd need testing every single CPU and GPU, which would take a long time.

It's really funny. My 3770k is a perfect match stock @3.5GHz with a gtx970, but my 3.4GHz i5-3570k feels like a 10% bottleneck. I should upgrade to a 7820HQ. Who would you have me take apart and give it to my PC? It's such a silly idea.
