I received a question about performance differences when using different configurations. With the Q6600 at 3GHZ and GTX 660 OEM, I achieved high FPS in GTA Online but experienced heavy CPU and GPU usage. Switching to a Phenom x4 955 at 3.8GHZ with the same setup gave me better performance at higher settings, while keeping CPU and GPU loads lower.
I received a question about performance differences. With a Q6600 at 3GHZ and GTX 660 OEM 1.5GB GDDR5, I achieved high FPS in GTA Online (30-40) while CPU usage was 95-100% and GPU at 60-70%. Now with a Phenom x4 955 at 3.8GHZ and the same setup, I get 50-80 FPS at very high settings. The GPU load is much lower here (max 40%) compared to the previous case. It seems like a driver or software issue rather than a hardware bottleneck, so I suggest creating a custom thread to investigate further.

I got a question:
When i had a Q6600 at 3GHZ with GTX 660 OEM 1.5GB GDDR5, it gave me in GTA Online very high settings 30-40 ish FPS.
The CPU load was 95-100% and GPU at 60-70%.
Now i have a Phenom x4 955 at 3.8GHZ with GTX 660 OEM 1.5GB GDDR5, it gives me at GTA Online at very high settings 50-80FPS.
But i am concerned about the GPU load. CPU load is at max 92% and GPU load is max 40%. Why is my GPU load so low?
Since that doesn't seem to be a bottlenecking issue (more like a driver/software bug), I recommend making your own thread regarding the matter.
Thank you for your quick answer!
I made my own thread.
Thank you! Your new i7-4770 should work well with the upcoming GTX 1070 without any issues.
I7 4770 at 4.1Ghz (meaning 600MHz OC over stock) locked on all cores forever (not throttling because max temp is 57°C with liquid metal) and 1070 (+70 MHz). BF 1 Multiplayer 64 player server, 1080p with ultra settings and 125% resolution scale (close to 1440p). 99% CPU usage, 60-70% GPU usage. It still lags and frame drops less than my previous FX8370 but doesn't keep a steady 75Hz on the monitor (drops to 50Hz or more often). Possibly the issue is my 16GB 1333MHz RAM?
