It seems like a decent idea for a lab setup, but the expense and unnecessary quick disconnects make it unsuitable for me. I’ll go with handling my own cables instead.

A flat CAT 6 won’t reach the full 100 meters without interference starting to appear. Still, in real scenarios people seldom run such long distances of copper—just enough to meet CAT 6 specifications.
