It's worth it considering the cost and the features you get. Even with my PC struggling at 3-15 FPS, I'm still enjoying it. Plus, Chris Roberts Elite doesn't seem very exciting to me.

I agree, though the game includes some interesting features. A few have been revealed for SC, which is still great to see.

I believe more means numerous star systems, not just a large number of worlds. In SC the sandbox seems even wider, and an unbreakable barrier wouldn’t exist if you keep moving straight ahead. I’m not sure about the Elite yet—so far only players seem to drift from one point to another. Still, reaching 400 billion systems is impressive if you can actually visit every one of them.

There are still 400 billion systems, roughly 100 planned according to the SC.

It's not necessarily a problem, but £50 for the base game feels too steep considering I'm still figuring things out. The absence of time for gaming seems to hint at complex systems ahead, which might be a downside. I'd prefer seeing 10 to 100 densely packed star systems that you could access instantly without loading delays.

The conversation focused on determining the scale of the game, but I’m not sure what you’re emphasizing.

Less can be beneficial too. I'm just sharing my thoughts without highlighting specific points.

Approximately 150 systems are available at launch, with more arriving regularly. Each system spans about 110 million kilometers in diameter... Elite won't be able to compete with that scale.

Elite costs £35 for the final match to confirm expectations. SC is mainly about concepts and promises, but elite claims they’re already in the game soon—until I see SC actually implement it, I’ll stick with my investment.
