I really can't grasp the reason behind starting this discussion—your thoughts are set in stone. You mentioned Elite costs £35 but it's already £50, SC is £27, and Star Citizen is more complicated with features at every million-dollar milestone. I'm not trying to be rude, but progress is slow as they're developing many ideas from scratch (such as the in-game physics engine), and I'd prefer they take their time. Still, if you're not excited, I wouldn't bother checking it out.

Both options have their advantages and disadvantages. Upon closer examination, each feels quite distinct from the other. Personally, SC captures my interest more due to its richer details and intricate systems, not just the visuals. If ED offered a more affordable starting point, I’d consider it for some fun, but from what I’ve seen and read, SC aligns better with my preferences.

It seems star citizen might be more of a promise than a finished product. They likely plan to release it, but I’m skeptical about its quality. It probably won’t live up to expectations. The main issue is their focus on minor tech showcases rather than delivering solid gameplay. They’re spending time on flashy hangar features instead of refining the core experience. While I get that hangars are important, it feels premature to expect a polished version before the game’s main features are solid. They’ve likely overpromised and are losing momentum with less support behind them.

The hangar module and arena commander are included in the final game. They aren't just placeholders to delay us until more content is released—they're part of the actual game. The delays are because they're testing completed sections to ensure everything works well before release. Hope this clarifies things.
