Yes, it's common for it not to back up your program files automatically. You can easily copy them to an external drive and restore later.

Interacting with folders and opening files can be time-consuming. Your right-click menu may include program options; if a feature is missing or slow due to coding issues, it might take longer each time. Uninstall the problematic software. Use Microsoft Autoruns (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinte...s/autoruns) to inspect all programs loaded by Windows. Open "Autoruns64.exe" as Administrator and check the "Explorer" tab. For malware detection, install and run Malwarebytes (https://www.malwarebytes.com/)
