Yea but theres more to CPU usage than core numbers and threads, CCX layouts and architecture can turn a cpu even a few years old like a 3600 to pretty much the same gaming performance as a 3300x which i think people are forgetting. Smaller transistor sizes mean faster speeds and more efficient usage
