Ensure you're in a safe area. Gently rotate the CPU back and forth, keeping a secure hold on the sides so it stays stable and won’t fly away.

You should likely just use a screwdriver to remove it, and avoid being too forceful.

It appears there’s some residue left, with a bit more on the sides and pins. You’re unsure about using isopropyl alcohol on the pins—would that be safe?

Isopropyl is generally safe to use, though I wouldn't submerge it in it. When attempting to remove the paste, ensure your cloth is very gentle to avoid damaging the pins. If possible, spray with alcohol and let it dry naturally. Remember to pause if you feel overwhelmed—it can be a tense situation.

I’m hoping everything went smoothly on the pin side. I lightly touched up the area with a bit of isopropyl alcohol on the pins and cleared away most of the paste. If that doesn’t work, I might be in trouble—especially since I don’t have any money for a CPU soon.

Gently twist it off. You might try a hairdryer to warm it up a bit—just be careful not to burn it. This never happened to me, whether AMD or not. (I’ve never installed or removed an Intel; their coolers are really tough.) And why did you mention "AMD"? Thanks for the correction! I’m a bit late.

Place a thin card between the rows of pins in both directions. I rely on my library card since the pins are closer than with older AmD chips, so a thicker credit card wouldn’t work. Gently move the card back and forth until it slides smoothly, which will assist in fixing any uneven rows.
