Hi there, I was in the middle of moving my PC parts into the new case when I had to take out the last piece—the AIO Block. The CPU came out along with the whole block because of the hardened thermal paste (AMD). Luckily, the pins are all fine from a physical standpoint. Are there any tips on removing the CPU without harming the pins or damaging it? I’m really worried.

Ensure the thermal paste is heated (such as by running the CPU) to improve its flow. If not, gently warm it up and then move it around. Using floss can also help.

I tried the same action initially, but it damaged my Ryzen 5 1600X due to the cooler malfunctioning. I managed to protect my Phenom II X4 Black Edition.
