The 3900x and prime95 temperatures are too high.

Hey guys,could you please post your results. I let it to run for 5 minutes and temperature hit 90 C,so I had to stop it. Is that to high under load? I'm using H100i and everything is seated properly. I'm using open case. Here is the screenshot.

it stopped once the temperature reached 90°C because the system was designed to shut down automatically when temperatures exceeded safe limits, which are around 105°C.

at high speed, my 3900x also handles around 85c at 4ghz on my Dark Rock Pro 3. it's a powerful chip upgrade—Cinebench R20 and IntelBurnedTest results.

Prime95 seems impossible to achieve, as real-world efforts won’t bring it this high.

Really frustrating, that's a lot to process. I probably won't try it again... I'm confused why it doesn't reach 4.2GHz across all cores when it's fully loaded.

I lowered voltage to 1.1v and boosted to 3.9-4ghz on the cores, keeping temperatures near 70-75°C—way within my expectations since the CPU stays under 100% usage constantly.

It's not too warm. With a 12-core processor, do you assume it will maintain 20°C when idle and 50°C during heavy use? The upper limit is 95°C, so you're currently 5°C below that, and the system will automatically slow down to avoid harm.

not everyone feels at ease with their cpu overheating personally i prefer my cpu to stay below 80c under any situation
