I mainly viewed several clips about temperatures, and I observed that when readings exceeded 90°C, the thermal throttling occurred. However, my CPU typically stays near 100-100°C. Specifics: Processor - Core2Duo E4500, RAM - 2*2GB DDR2 at 750MHz, Cooler - standard unit.

This temperature is excessively high. For example, streaming videos typically requires at least 40°C, but it should be between 40°C and 50°C based on your cooler setup. Make sure the paste hasn’t dried out; if it has, remove it and apply fresh paste.

Your older CPU runs differently than today's chips. If it's overheating, change the thermal paste, wipe the heatsink, and confirm the fan is functioning properly.

It is clearly °C I double-checked; it seems the system is from around 1998.

I completed that task five days ago since my old stock cooler failed.

The processor from 2007 is still getting hot despite the cooler replacement. Could the new cooler not fit properly or isn't making good contact with the CPU?

It's possible the temperature monitoring diode could fail, especially since the CPU is old. It's unusual to function at such high temperatures, and it's worrying if the cooler has already been replaced. What does it indicate when not in use?

When not in use, it operates at 72 degrees. Would you prefer a replacement?

It got a minor update and core 2 duo was probably launched around 1999—it was my dad's computer. It now runs an Intel stock cooler.
