Temperature reading between 100-110°C is unusual.
I mainly viewed several clips about temperatures, and I observed that when readings exceeded 90°C, the thermal throttling occurred. However, my CPU typically stays near 100-100°C. Specifics: Processor - Core2Duo E4500, RAM - 2*2GB DDR2 at 750MHz, Cooler - standard unit.
This temperature is excessively high. For example, streaming videos typically requires at least 40°C, but it should be between 40°C and 50°C based on your cooler setup. Make sure the paste hasn’t dried out; if it has, remove it and apply fresh paste.
It is clearly °C I double-checked; it seems the system is from around 1998.
I completed that task five days ago since my old stock cooler failed.
It got a minor update and core 2 duo was probably launched around 1999—it was my dad's computer. It now runs an Intel stock cooler.
