1998?! That feels like the Intel Pentium 3 or 4 time. Back then, dual-core and quad-core chips weren’t even around. The Core 2 Duo E4500 came out in 2007—check Intel’s own ARK page for details. https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/...z-fsb.html If the cooler isn’t fitting right, or the CPU is still getting those high temps, then: A) Cooler isn’t secured properly B) Cooler is insufficient C) Thermal paste didn’t stick well

I resolved the issue, but our CPU wasn't the problem. The heat was due to outdated drivers.
