When you examine what I mentioned and quoted, it seems I didn’t refer to copying or stealing from Nvidia at all. What I was talking about was your statement about them updating the controller support, which is not accurate—it was actually about modernizing the platform’s appearance. Nothing further needs to be said. It clearly resembles a GeForce Experience imitation, and I never claimed otherwise.

It seems they didn't develop this for touch screens, likely emulating the smart-TV "app grid," suggesting it's probably for hardware not yet released. The style is really frustrating to use with a mouse, just like all mobile ports. Wait wait... perhaps they're planning to enable phones and tablets in a similar big-picture mode. The NVIDIA Shield box example shows this approach, relying on a controller interface.

I've obtained access to Galaxy 2.0 and decided not to rely on Steam anymore. 2.0 really fixes all the issues, including the old Steam UI problems, which are now resolved in the early beta version. It also brings together your libraries and adds better cover images, plus features like list views. The previous layout was outdated and frustrating, but replacing it with something new doesn't make sense. The game pages display a lot of irrelevant information, which is unsettling and makes me uncomfortable. A good user interface should be intuitive and seamless—if users feel confused or frustrated right away, that's a red flag. Regardless of how long it takes to get used to it, the design needs to work well from the start.

I received it around a month or two ago; it works well.
GOG 2.0 game library seems preferable. Including the Steam news section would be even better.
Home screen, Add Shelf > All Games > Sort by release date?

If he prefers the games in order of their release dates, but your idea is to list them by when they came out, it suggests that some titles might appear between the two-year gaps. This means it won't be Hitman 1, 2, 3, but rather something like Hitman, Game x, Hitman 2, etc...

the discussion centers on the confusion about the topic, and you're asking for a sorted grid based on release dates instead of a simple list.
