When you need to update the firmware and don’t have post-installation support, the best method I’m aware of is using a tool that lets you flash the BIOS via USB. This option varies by brand—some call it bios flashback, others use different names. If your board supports it, check the manual for details. For Ryzen systems, updates can be tricky; sometimes only one USB port works, or there’s a dedicated slot. Without it, you have two options: return the device to the maker or discard it. The cheaper route might mean throwing it away or selling it on eBay as a broken unit. There’s a way to perform the update without bios flashback, but it demands specific equipment like soldering and a pre-loaded chip. It can be more complicated than expected.
