I find the number 9 to be quite poor based on my experiences. It's shaped by specific situations that led me to this conclusion. I believe it's terrible because of the way it affects performance and usability. The hardware I'm using supports a strong setup: an i7-3940XM processor, 32GB of DDR3 RAM, a high-end GPU, and solid storage drives. I've kept everything running smoothly without any problems. The only changes I made were swapping in a 1080p display and adding a backlight keyboard.

Wow, that really stands out compared to my 2570p.

I planned to adjust it to 4.2 or even 4.4, but I’d prefer to wait until I have more spare parts, okay?

Sure, I'm searching for a 3740QM chip to fit into your Elitebook 2570p. You mentioned needing 2133MHz RAM, but the 3630QM won't work with that speed. It's not about upgrading, just matching the specs for the fastest 12.5" laptop you have.

Why not opt for a 3840QM? That’s what I have in my main T430. I really appreciate the performance and it doesn’t overheat much. I checked the FRU parts list and bought a replacement heatsink for a dGPU model. Have you considered HFS upgrades for your system? I did one on my Elitebook. I upgraded the GPU from a k1000 to this M4000, and it works significantly better. I play a lot of games at medium to high settings.
