Should I get CS:GO?
Should I get CS:GO?
I've owned all the CS elements but still struggle to play regularly. The game feels really old and is way too different from modern shooters. You need to put in time and effort to improve—learn things like recoil behavior, reaction speed, and map design. Even then, you end up playing online and find others are ahead of you. It's not a bad game, but it's not great either. I wouldn't suggest it for casual play; BF or CoD would be better options.
Well... perhaps wait until the sale starts so you won’t regret the purchase later. TF2 could work as an alternative. Any other ideas? You already have Overwatch.
It's a great experience with 1000 hours across three accounts, especially when playing with friends in the AU/NZ area. I'm here to join in and we can compete together. I have two accounts at various levels, though I tend to hang out at lower ranks most of the time.
It's a challenging skill-driven shooter designed for those who aren't easily intimidated. I recall my first experience—playing under pressure to eliminate dangerous terrorists hiding in the ruins of Chernobyl. For a week, I was haunted by nightmares of witnessing comrades fall, every night. While not ideal for casual players, you'll likely face hackers and frustrated opponents, though it's hard to predict how often they'll appear.
This game is really tough for newcomers. I tried it once with my sister after a long break, and it was super frustrating. My team kept trying to push me around, which made things uncomfortable. My sister explained that only she could stop them because of her vote, but it felt unfair. It’s not worth wasting my energy or nerves. I prefer games that are more chill.
Hackers aren't the main concern, particularly at lower levels. It's a straightforward 15$ investment and shouldn't be a major choice to make.
