Microsoft didn't develop Quantum Break themselves; they released it. Their performance with Windows gaming is quite disappointing. I appreciate them for aligning hit boxes with buttons in UWP, but in GFWL you had to click next to each button.

Quantum Break is developed internally by the company, which operates under Microsoft's broader structure.

Appreciate their achievement as a multi-billion-dollar firm that spent a decade enhancing its capabilities to match top flash game developers.

Third-party content is provided by Microsoft, while Remedy offers it as a separate service.

Well then, when DICE makes a mistake we grumble about EA. The same happens with AC titles and Ubi, Treyark or IW for Activision, and so on.

Microsoft is held accountable for releasing a faulty game, yet they aren't liable for the underlying code.

The team couldn't build one of the earliest DX12 and UWP titles without Microsoft's involvement in their code, but at least they reached an agreement. As long as everyone accepts that Microsoft enjoys releasing flawed games and products, GFWL anyone?

Microsoft is the publisher, providing funding for Remedy to develop the game. Both parties share responsibility. I appreciate the games they produce—Forza, Halo, Gears—and I’ll voice my concerns if things go wrong, hoping for improvement.
