Performance remains poor even on a powerful PC when playing CS GO.
I completed the FPS benchmark and HW monitor tests after analyzing previous results. I captured footage from my phone to display the actual performance:
1) My video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dPB9KA6fHmY
2) Video of a user achieving better outcomes with a weaker GPU: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rCwAjcIB...1232163782
Are your displays distinct? Please note, you're not complaining about 130fps for playback, right? (Since 60+ is considered solid performance.) You seem puzzled as to why your latest equipment isn't matching his in terms of performance? Although he's older, you're using a CPU from around the 5th generation. It remains a decent processor. I'd be surprised if there was any limitation between that and the 1060 with 6GB of RAM. It might just depend on the chipset or GPU; perhaps it's the older CPU that's the issue. Intel doesn't seem overly concerned about channel usage, but a third channel is usually not ideal in a three-channel configuration. A second or fourth channel would be preferable. Also, I think your high settings wouldn't exceed 5 or 6GB of memory.
Boosting the refresh rate significantly raises the system demands. It's a bit more challenging than jumping from 1080p to 1440p, yet similar in nature. What is his refresh rate? If it's 60hz, that's the information you need.
He got 60hz but i should have gotten 300 fps like this person from the video, not me from my own. That's two times lower. I really think the motherboard issue here. Can you give me some advice on what kind of motherboard to buy? I’ll try O.C and might get a DDR3 +2133, plus an SSD or maybe M.2 for the OS.
Avoid using mat_queue in the console or launch commands. Adjust settings to enable multi-core graphics.
