I understood that my CPU isn't compatible, though I'm sure it's not the main issue—about 85%. 2. I've been using the newest NVIDIA drivers, but they didn't make any changes. Trying to revert them didn't help and didn't solve the problem. 3. Later on. 4. In Windows, power settings are set to high performance, yet I can't see options for Minimal or Maximum processor power. They disappeared. In BIOS I'm not sure where to look for them—I found some power settings but couldn't access them. It feels like a maze; PSU is fine, motherboard is broken. The issue seems hidden deep in the ocean.
I'll look for them at Amazon or Newegg. You should be able to find them in local stores too.
