Sure, I'll switch the mounting tonight and reapply thermal paste along with re-seating the CPU to check if it makes a difference. Appreciate the help.
You can place the radiator at the top if space allows, using fans to draw air from above and letting the rear fan expel it more quickly. This setup enhances airflow at lower fan speeds and works best for AIO mounts when the radiator is positioned at the top. Also, ensure both fans are set identically and that they don’t work in opposite directions through the radiator.
Also verify BIOS settings for CPU_FAN1/2 configuration as Water Pump (WP) and switch control mode from Auto to PWM. If you have multiple CPU headers, connect the pump to the first header, adjust it to Full Speed, then attach the AIO fans to the second header, reconfigure them to PWM, and observe CPU performance on Performance or a custom curve.
A splitter should be connected to the pump, yet the fans must also have their own dedicated header connection.
I’ve repositioned the pump using fresh thermal paste (MX-5). The radiator was rotated so the tubes sit at the bottom. Two problems: I moved a fan from the bottom to the top because it didn’t fit with the tubes, and the tubes are slightly protruding—hoping they’ll bend inside the case. There’s only one 4-pin connector at the pump and for the two fans on the radiator.
