Truly, if I were you, I’d look for a used 9700/k/kf model. The price would match a platform upgrade, but it would run more efficiently.
I don't really feel the need to buy older games beyond what I already own. I'm content with my current collection; my main concern is future releases, especially since I want to expand into esports titles. Used to play all the story games on PS and my PC was mainly for CS:GO. I doubt I'll upgrade to a PS5. If an OC reaches around 5.0GHz, I'll definitely consider it. After that, I'd look more toward AMD RT investments.
I've been checking sales data, but after all our discussions, if Intel doesn't release an i3-10350kf, it seems picking up a 3300X at a discount might be a smarter move. AMD's RT technology is likely to dominate future games, so I'd prefer a Radeon GPU with a Ryzen CPU.
