Je jste na SSD pod chodlo SSD, jste v Windows? Tento je naturalný plan Windows. Kde je OS? Toto je ten drive. Dobrý, posíme stávat v tomto drive. Co to znamená? Známak, Downloads, Bilder, Videofolder jsou všechny na ten sam drive jako OS v prípadě. Desktop je v prípadě na tyošu OS drive. Appdata je OS drive v prípadě. Documenty a Muzyka jsou v tyošu OS drive v prípadě. A když ti jsme mít více než 0,0001 GB na tyošu OS drive, to bez problému. Co jedno, co změním osobně, je že moje folder pro Downloady jsou teraz na HDD. A jsem není považovat, jak to udělal, ale pro HDD Windows stalo takto, že vytvoříli podobné foldery pro Kinofily, Muzyku a tak. - a před tomu, že jsem určil, že musím zmienit to. Oh yeah, I get it. My boot isn’t filled with anything except the desktop. The games are on my 7200rpm WD Blue, and most of the space is on the 3TB 5400rpm model. The only exceptions are the "Microsoft Store" titles—like Asphalt Legends, Solitaire Collection, and a few "Cook-off" games my wife is playing. All regular folders such as Music and Videos have been moved to my hard drives.
Move your folder locations on the HDD. Click right-click on the folder → Properties → TAB Location and switch to a different drive. For instance, set it to D:\Music. Windows will automatically transfer folders to another drive. This means when you view "This PC" and access Music or Videos, it shows D:\Pictures instead of C:\UserName\Pictures.
That’s interesting then. Using an HDD as a cache drive isn’t ideal because apps might rely on RAM for large files, even with plenty of memory. There are also temporary files created when you type %temp% in Windows search or via the run command. Some applications save work during crashes—especially if they autosave regularly. For example, I was just testing Blender in October 2023 and saw saved progress in the folders I mentioned. I didn’t need to do anything special; Windows handled it automatically by default. I still had to pin those folders for clarity, but no need to assign specific ones. Here’s a folder named Videos, about 3.5MB on the C: drive, and another one on the A: drive, which is larger. Both exist, but I prefer using the A drive for simplicity.
Well, yes. You can't avoid "ProgramDATA" folder which is on C: drive......or TEMP folder....those are system folders. I understand what you did, but before I discovered that "system folders" CAN be relocated.....back on Windows XP without shortcuts I had to go to "My Computer-D drive-Pictures"...now is shorter....OR just click on Start Menu button and click "Pictures"....or from any folder on the left side "tree"....and choose folder.... You can check the attachment...I've got bunch of folders in This PC...most of them are put there for daily use...with ThisPC Tweaker app. Very cool app.
