the instructions didn't mention XMP enabled. i switched the speed to manual and set it to 3600 fps. fsp isn't ideal, though. it was a budget option with a warranty at the time, so i went ahead and bought it. only one ssd, one 1tb hdd.

Have you adjusted the schedules? Such inexpensive options damage your device. Get an SSD instead.

I didn’t adjust the timings unless you have instructions—I’ll attempt it quickly if needed. If it’s a big task, I’ll try to handle it as fast as possible. I didn’t realize that approach, actually; I’m expecting clean electricity in my country compared to America, so I might be purchasing an M.2 soon.

Is your system using W11? Enabling FTPM plus W11 with Zen3 leads to minor stuttering. This problem is widespread, and it can be resolved by updating the BIOS to version 1.2.0.7.

Windows 10 hasn't been updated to version 11 yet, as there are reports of instability issues.

It seems this doesn't impact W10 in the same manner. Enable fast sync via the NVIDIA control panel—likely under VSync settings. If the game supports it, you can cap your maximum FPS to match your monitor's refresh rate.

Enable XMP or DOCP based on your motherboard. That’s not the main concern. It’s just an extremely poor unit. The AC side only provides 230V, which helps reduce input costs, and the DC side has weak voltage regulation and lacks essential safeguards like OTP. I think that addresses the problem.

I got significantly better performance with the unlocked version compared to the locked one, and the stuttering has reduced a bit.
