Using an older model feels risky since I worry about performance issues, and I prefer something with solid graphics support.

Purchase a 10400, followed by a used RX 560 or 570.

Uncertain about being overly selective, but I’m looking for every AMD option instead of my current setup

Additionally, I’m having trouble reaching 560/570 since I need to use a tiny micro ATX and I can only locate a low-profile RX 550 with 4GB RAM.

There isn't a top-tier AMD CPU with six cores and twelve threads that comes with an APU without being quite expensive. The 10400 costs around $150 and performs better than the 4650G.

For GPU usage, an integrated solution won't be necessary. I recommend a 3600 with an RX570 4GB (about $150 used), which should run smoothly at 1080p medium-high settings.

Reviewed standards and found 10400 sits between 3400G and 4650G.

I can only locate a modestly priced used RX 550 that fits your compact case, and I also need a bit of extra "backup graphics" just in case.
