The highest efficiency is achieved when texture filtering is disabled. Regarding the slider, I’m still trying to understand its purpose. Thanks for sharing the concept!
Are both PCs using the identical Windows version? Have you experimented with alternative Windows versions? This helps confirm whether the same ISO is being used and checks for any errors or file issues.
I've tried reinstalling Windows 10 on both PCs numerous times without success. It seems like all games are showing in their lowest visual settings, and I can switch them to ultra but still see poor quality—like the settings aren't working or something is preventing the NVIDIA control panel, GeForce Experience, or in-game options from loading properly. I haven’t tried Windows 8.1 or 7 yet, but I don’t want to waste money if it doesn’t help. Thanks for your feedback. This issue appears after fresh installs or updates to the latest NVIDIA drivers and Steam. No corrupted files involved. It’s really frustrating.
I cleaned the SSDs on my single PC, removed everything and used ddu to remove drivers before reinstalling Windows 10. The problem persists. Odd behavior. Games still work well but lack visual clarity. In the pictures you shared, it looks like LOD is set to the lowest value, especially with the arm and sleeve appearing rough as noted.
I discovered something that might explain the problem. A user on altered their registry and now their graphics are affected. They mentioned searching for a specific path but only got to "Services" without finding anything related to a videodriver. I checked my own registry and also hit a similar issue, with no videodriver or device listed. I didn’t modify any settings; I just searched to investigate. It seems my concern could be linked to a registry error. If anyone has suggestions, that would be helpful!
