Hi, I recently contacted Intel support after using their assistance.
I own a Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro running Windows 11, with an i5-13500h processor and a 3050 GPU.
My monitor supports a 120Hz refresh rate. After installing all the drivers, in the Windows settings display section I see options for 60Hz, 120Hz or Dynamic Refresh Rate 60Hz and 120Hz.
I chose to keep it at 120Hz consistently, but nothing changes.
After uninstalling and reinstalling the GPU drivers, I used the standard Intel Graphics Center (beta) and set it to 120Hz. I disabled the VRR option where I found it, yet the issue persists.
Changing the setting to 60Hz keeps the display at that speed regardless, but switching back to 120Hz causes it to toggle between 60Hz and 120Hz.
I’m wondering how to ensure the display remains at 120Hz continuously.

This might not be your model but it appears a bit unstable -

Have you tried Vantage to check for any recent updates?

Hi, I understand your concern. It seems you're having trouble with the HZ option in your Vantage app.

Have you inquired on the Lenovo forums for a solution? If not, let them know.

I checked the forum post and found the solution. It seems you can reach a Lenovo technician by contacting them through WhatsApp; I hope this helps.

I just asked another question about Vantage, and it seems it's still providing an outdated version of the iris drivers. It recommended using an older version that wasn't installed.
It looks like there might be some confusion on their side.
Maybe try installing directly from Intel:
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/...ndows.html
The latest version is now 4953.

I will remove the Intel GPU using DDU and install the alternative version. Please let me know. It's really annoying to see smooth performance on the browser and desktop at 60Hz when I don't move anything, and the same problem occurs in Mathcad, Word, etc.

I didn't see your Lenovo post. Otherwise, I wouldn't have reminded you to share it again.
Handling the apps behaving differently on desktop would be challenging.

are you using the laptop display or an additional one? I thought it was extra at first.
Display supported modes: 1440p at 60hz?
not according to Iris XE specs
Max Resolution (HDMI)‡ - 4096 x 2304 @ 60Hz
Max Resolution (DP)‡ - 7680 x 4320 @ 60Hz
Max Resolution (eDP - Integrated Flat Panel)‡ - 4096 x 2304 @ 120Hz
could be the monitor driver is incorrect. It wouldn't be the first time for Lenovo
this one can only reach 60 -

Windows 11 also gets a lot of blame.
