The fan is running loudly even at midnight. I’m unsure about taking out the cooler since the motherboard plate might come off, and then I’d have to disconnect the board and remove the plate. Thanks for your help!

Are you sure your BIOS is up to date? It might be using an outdated version, which could be sending too much power to the processor.
