Issue with Ryzen 3 3300x getting too hot Thermal problems affecting performance
Hey, your Ryzen 3 3300X is getting quite hot after just two days of use. The stock cooler isn’t keeping up, and even trying different cooling methods didn’t solve the issue. If it drops too low, it becomes unstable. You might want to consider replacing the cooler or exploring other ways to manage the temperature.
I'm not sure where you're staying. Understanding the room temperature helps, especially since someone mentioned hot RAM... Are your components boosted similarly? We'd love to know more details.
Overclocking usually works well with a standard cooler, but gaming shouldn't force it to run at maximum capacity. Could you share your home's room temperature?
What's the room temperature? Which case are you using? Are there fans inside? Is the cooling fan part of the case? Does the heatsink sit securely and be firmly attached? What are your idle temperatures? High idle readings could mean the mounting isn't correct.
It's quite mild, nothing to stress over. 78f is typical. In my view, it doesn't look like a good CPU mount. Idle temperatures would be helpful to know.
