It seems Nvidia's built-in drivers don't support this kind of functionality. For an AMD configuration, it would function, but not for Nvidia.

Yes, you have two options: use open source drivers or revert to Windows.

I attempted this by deleting the xorg.conf file and the xorg.conf.backup file after installing the latest NVIDIA drivers, then restarted my computer. It appears to be functioning properly now. Please note this method may work, but keep your original files as backups just in case.
