Yesterday I downloaded Forza Horizon 4 (FH4) and played it on my new Logitech G29. After launching it, I noticed the graphics quality was significantly lower than in the demo. I adjusted the settings to ultra to compare, but the visuals remained similar across different levels. The anti-aliasing at 8x appeared poor, the trees looked unnatural regardless of settings, and the draw distance seemed too short. I’m unsure what caused this issue. If you need further help, feel free to check my PC specifications—I don’t have them off the hand.

The demo version could be an earlier release with different graphics configurations, which might explain why a full restart was needed after changing settings. Some games need this adjustment to apply properly. It doesn’t seem like the system will render extremely well unless the settings are adjusted further.

I know that the demo is a early version, but when I look at videos of FH4 it looks amazing. I did do a full restart when I switched graphic settings. I did google it up. The minimum is a 670 so my 1050TI should be fine

I haven't checked your Nvidia drivers yet. Would you like me to do that?

I made the changes, but the issue persists. It could be related to DirectX or the NVIDIA graphics settings.

Viewing FH4 on a 4K screen appears great. I'm guessing you can't exceed medium adjustments with your current hardware. This isn't about the lowest possible for smooth operation or performance; it's just the baseline needed to start the game and run it, not for optimal visuals.

I think the 1050 Ti might lack the strength to run the completed game smoothly with good visuals.

I understand, but regardless of the settings, everything appears identical. I've tried playing BF1 on ultra even with only 20 frames per second to check the quality.

AFAIK FH4 tends to rely heavily on the CPU. A friend often talks about it being a performance bottleneck.
