I followed all the steps correctly while using my PC with the 3200G. If I switch it over, the board triggers its red light checks and then freezes on VGA. If the CPU were the issue, the CPU light would activate, suggesting a possible BIOS problem, though I’m not sure. The fans aren’t increasing, but the CPU inside the socket is heating up noticeably—it’s acting as if something might be wrong.

Have you reset the CMOS? Also, considering you've updated your system's BIOS for the board, it's possible the BIOS settings might affect the video adapter. It should be using the correct configuration now.

I adjusted it a few times, kept the power button pressed for half a minute, but the battery still wouldn’t work. Putting the plug back in after each attempt didn’t help. When I turned on the 3200G integrated graphics, everything worked fine. My cards are all good. I’m worried about updating the board to the latest version—will that remove support for the 2600? Also, I’m unsure if upgrading the BIOS to F1 will free up space for other updates, or if downgrading to F1 might be necessary to get the Ryzen 5 2600 to boot properly.

I believe the newest updates still allow Ryzen 2000s support. However, I’m not sure if that’s the main concern—can you confirm the 2600 is functioning properly?

I had your upgrade mixed up—makes sense the 2600 is meant for the 3200. If that’s the case, you probably don’t need a BIOS update or change. It should work with your CPU directly. Sadly, it seems there might be another issue here. You could try going back to an earlier version, but it shouldn’t be required. Gigabyte doesn’t reference newer BIOS versions that remove support for older CPUs.
