It's typical for a CPU to warm up to around 100°C and shut down when cooling isn't sufficient, even with BIOS support.

I was just considering if it’s still alive, maybe it won’t heat up. Usually the fans would spin nonstop if the CPU was dead, but I’m not sure. I’ll check after updating the BIOS and either panic or relax knowing I spent everything on it. Hopefully it works and saves me from a heart attack. I wish I had saved a bit more time.

I have positive updates – the graphics were lowered to f32 and it started working immediately, ready to launch as soon as Windows updates arrived.
