the frame rate stays limited to 220, but it becomes evident it drops below 200 frequently, particularly during recording. this is exactly what I captured for you, so you can see the evidence. and I haven’t even touched the RAM yet.

I updated the bios and don’t forget about it. Also, why would I lie? I might not have a job, but I don’t need to be famous on the forum. All I’m after is better PC performance. Would you mind checking if there’s anything I missed in the bios? Maybe I got lucky with silicone or something. I’m really happy just getting 2.5x the performance without buying a new CPU.

i was trying to find a 3200 cl14 for this build three years back, but it wasn’t in my budget. even if it didn’t make a difference, who cares about slow RAM, right? i ended up using cl 15 now.

Did you ask about 3200 or 3600MHz? You ran a Testmem5 or Memtest86 check for stability. Edited October 31, 2025 by leclod
