I'm experiencing issues with my CPU overclocking on an ASUS laptop. The quick CPU runs at full speed initially, but once I start playing games, it slows down significantly to around 40% of its capacity. This causes the game to freeze or become unresponsive. I've tried various adjustments, but nothing seems to resolve the problem.

The temperatures are fine, but the CPU still isn’t working properly after I tried to reset the laptop.

This asks about the details of the product and inquires about your recent gaming experience. Would you like me to provide the complete specifications? And when was your most recent successful game session?

The CPU performance on a laptop isn't ideal, especially with poor cooling that can't handle the heat. Most laptops simply restrict it. If you're looking to fix it, clearing the CMOS might help.

Reset the UEFI configuration by clearing the CMOS using these options: 1. Navigate to the Exit section in the UEFI and choose Load Optimized Defaults. 2. Locate and press the Clear CMOS button on your motherboard. 3. Disconnect the computer, remove the coin cell battery from the motherboard for a short time, then reattach it.

The device you're using is a laptop, not a regular computer.
