Hey guys, can you give me some help with my white build?
Hi everyone, I haven't built a computer for years. My current PC is from 2018. I love playing RPGs like Fallout, Cyberpunk, and Skyrim, so I wanted to check this link: https://dk.pcpartpicker.com/user/P3nnyw1se/saved/rMqF4D I was hoping you could point out any mistakes I made. Someone told me I should get a motherboard that supports PCIe 5.0 like the B650, so I went away from it instead.
I don't think that CPU is worth it, but you should decide what to buy. Here are the parts I picked for my setup:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 9600X with a speed of 3.9 GHz and 6 cores (costs 1699 kr at Proshop)
Cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 140 fan that blows good air (costs 488 kr at Proshop)
Motherboard: ASRock B850 Steel Legend with WiFi for a new computer socket (costs 1691 kr at Proshop)
RAM: Kingston FURY Beast RGB has 32 GB of fast memory in two sticks (costs 990 kr at Computersalg)
Hard Drive: Western Digital WD_Black SN850X is a big, fast SSD with 2 TB of storage for your games and files (costs 1099 kr at Proshop)
Graphics Card: XFX Swift Radeon RX 9070 XT has 16 GB of power to show off the screen better (costs 5895 kr at Proshop)
Chassis: Lian Li LANCOOL 216 RGB is a nice metal case that holds all these things well (costs 938 kr at Proshop)
Power Supply: SeaSonic Focus GX V4 is a strong power box for the CPU and graphics card (costs 1198 kr at Computersalg)
Everything adds up to 13998 kr in total. The prices include shipping, taxes, and any sales discounts that happened when I bought these items last week. This list was made by PCPartPicker on May 29, 2025.
I like the XFX Swift Radeon RX 9070 XT 16 GB Video Card. Is it more budget? maybe I should ask that too, since you went down to an b850. That card doesn't support PCIE 5 right? It might cause some problems later on, but don't worry about it if you just want a better card.
