That's odd indeed. A 5600G isn't particularly strong or impressive enough to justify purchasing an entire system just for it, especially if you're concerned about getting a defective build. It seems like you might have been misled into buying something faulty. I don't believe a 3600G was ever available.
They don't seem to agree on the specs either, but that's what the original poster said. A 5600g and an rx 5500 combination is unusual. Was it a 4600g or an older CPU? It might have been an older model, and the OP added a 5600x without updating the BIOS—making the rest more plausible.
I specified the incorrect CPU; the initial build includes a 5600G. Because it wasn’t included, I purchased one from Best Buy—a 5600X. The pre-built version contains all its original parts.
