They don’t seem to allow the CPU upgrade from 5XXXg to 5XXXx because it’s probably restricted through BIOS and GL. You’ll need the right BIOS from HP unless you find it online.

You can change the bios by accessing the settings section and updating the information there.

What options do you have? In your area the main shop is Best Buy and they carry only the 5600x model.
