Hi, your HP Pavilion setup seems to be facing a display issue right now. After installing the CPU and thermal paste, everything appears to be connected properly. However, when you power it up, there’s no screen, BIOS, or any signals detected—just lights and fans running. You might want to check the motherboard connections, ensure the GPU is properly seated, and verify that the display controller is functioning. Also, try resetting the BIOS or testing with a different power supply if possible.

The 3600g includes built-in graphics, whereas the 3600x lacks them. This device requires a graphics card to display video. Because you didn’t provide details about your computer, we can’t confirm whether it has one. That decision is yours.

It’s meant to be this model: HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop with a 5600X CPU. The main change is the processor, replacing the 5600G.

Your HDMI is connected to either the motherboard or the graphics card.

You're currently on the motherboard, but both attempts failed.

Shut down the computer then test it on the GPU. You can do this without a full power cycle, though it may get stuck trying to access the motherboard.

The HDMI connection on the motherboard isn't functioning properly with a 5600x resolution.
