Gigabyte Aorus Master X570 encountering error 90

Others also faced issues with this motherboard. Highly likely it was damaged during a system crash. I was using Maya, a 3D program, which caused my PC to freeze. Now I see a red VGA indicator light and get error 90. Testing three GPUs didn’t fix the problem, and neither did Q-flash plus backup BIOS.

AFAIK error 90 on a Gigabyte motherboard relates to the boot device. Consider removing your operating system drive and starting the PC from a Linux USB stick to access the desktop. Note: I don’t have the codes for the X570, but the information matches older models.

Planning to replace the old PSU with a new Corsair HX1200i, add a 1200W power supply, and install the G.Skill Trident Z DDR4 RGB 64GB 3200MHz, but I still need to get the motherboard fixed first.

Probably I'd begin by resetting the CMOS. If that fails, follow what @Captain Chaos suggested.

Press the CMOS button yet the BIOS screen remains unavailable and the same error persists. After disconnecting the SSD, I tested using just the CPU, a single memory stick, and the GPU still didn’t work.

You could try flashing the BIOS, but if that fails I'd contact Gigabyte's support. There's little more we can do or suggest.

Checked Q-flash on a USB stick, same issue I’m facing—I should return it. Probably a mistake using the gigabyte card.
