If you aim for a 32 gig kit, you'll remain capable of upgrading to 64 later. The 3600 should suffice for now. However, if you have the budget and your workload grows to eight cores, the 3700x will provide ample power.

Thanks for the list! I've never bought from B&H before. Everyone seems to have been there more often than me—used to shop on www.mwave.com, but it's not in the computer business anymore. Right now I mostly stick to Amazon and Newegg. If B&H has what I need, I'll check it out. I'm still weighing the options for the RBG. By the way, I was thinking about the P300A fan and wondering what kind of fans you'd recommend. By the way, I'm still using fans from about 15 years ago. I've gathered all my case fans over the years to ensure I have enough airflow for my old Rosewill R5 tower. Speaking of upgrades, I'm keeping an eye on the Ripjaws V on my Newegg wishlist. Also, the CORSAIR Vengeance RGB Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) with 288-pin DDR4 RAM at 3200MHz (PC4 25600) on my son's PC doesn't always show the RGB lights. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I suspect it might be related to the memory module. I think I should consider replacing some storage drives. My current setup includes a 1TB WD Black, a 3TB WD Green (getting older), a SAMSUNG 840 Pro Series 2.5" 128GB, a SanDisk SSD PLUS 2.5" 240GB. I'm using the Samsung Pro 840 as my scratch drive. Just a note, I really value this discussion.

No one really needs 128GB these days, and most people don’t. The price for a 3600 model is quite steep compared to the cost of other options.

I mentioned that. If it can't, the 3600 will still work. It depends on the project size and the specific workload, but the imc can definitely manage 128 gigs.

I received another alert from Newegg regarding the X570 Tomahawk. I managed to purchase it for $220! Hooray! Now I just have to wait for the remaining components on my list. My daughter suggested I opt for a Blacked out system with solid power, which sounds like a good idea. Perhaps I should go with that and add some color later. Thanks for all the support from @Mateyyy and @TofuHaroto. You've both been really helpful. I can't believe the recommended power supply is no longer available. Supplies are running low!
