Hello, I'm facing issues with XMP on my GSKILL Aegis DDR4 3200mhz system. My Ryzen 5 2600 and ASRock B540m HDV board have a RAM stuck at 2133mhz. When trying to enable XMP, I encountered a BSOD and Windows loading issues. Performance varies between games—around 70-80fps on low settings for titles like CSGO and LoL, dropping to about 40fps in Fortnite and Assassin's Creed Origins. I also have a Gigabyte RX 580 8GB. Could these frame drops be related to the RAM speed? If so, would you mind assisting with adjusting the RAM settings or enabling XMP manually?

The CPU memory controller can handle a memory speed of up to 2933 MHz. Consider using this frequency instead.

Adjust the system clock to 1.1, set DRAM frequency to 1.35, and refresh the BIOS settings.

I'm just getting started with PC building, so I want this super easy to understand.

To set the frequency to 2933, you typically enable XMP first and then adjust the frequency settings accordingly. Increasing voltages isn't directly related; focus on configuring the XMP profile before tweaking the frequency.

Essentially, it's the memory controller unit.

Changing BIOS settings yourself can be risky if you're not experienced. Always back up your data and follow proper procedures to avoid damage.
